The lake

When the sea isn’t perfect, Sidewake is.

Castelo de Bode winds for kilometres between steep, pine-covered hills, so when the wind picks up your tender simply moves into a sheltered arm. Five seasons of records, from March to November, show sheltered water in every daytime hour, never more than 460 metres from your dock.

The crew keeps every tender immaculate and sets the ballast, speed and rope length for each guest. You can surf at sunrise, go out again at midday and cruise at sunset, all from the house.

The crew

Everything is looked after

Your crew runs the tenders, the coaching and the house, so all you have to decide is when to surf and when to do nothing at all. World and European Champion Roberts Linavskis leads the coaching, with a team of riders we choose with care, and first-timers get the same attention as competing riders.

Sergio, your private chef, cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner around your day on the water, with snacks all day, soft drinks, beer and wine.

Your day

How a day might go

  1. Morning

You start with a relaxed breakfast, then surf the best water of the day.

  2. Midday

After lunch at the house you can take a paddleboard or the e-foil, try the trampoline or lie in a hammock.

  3. Evening

You go out for one last surf or a sunset cruise, then sit down to dinner at the long table.
