About

We turn a yacht’s waterline into a private wake academy

Serious wakesurf and wakeboard coaching, delivered the way a yacht expects things to be delivered, with the equipment side sorted too.

Who we are

Who runs it

We're led by Roberts Linavskis: World and European Champion wakeboarder, and multiple-time National champion, in both wakesurf and wakeboard. As the founder of Sidewake, Europe's top wake academy, Roberts brings thousands of hours across every major wake boat platform.

He is fussy about waves in a way most people are not, and he teaches patiently, which is a rarer combination than it sounds.

What we do

What we do

Fly-in champion coaching

Wakesurf and wakeboard instruction for owner trips and charter weeks. Quiet, good with families, and it produces results.

Performance wave engineering

Ballast, surf systems, fin and foil, speed and rope length tuned to rider profile and real sea conditions. Wave perfection at your waterline.

Wake tender supply

Finding and specifying tenders that actually perform, sized to your garage or davit, and handed over already set up.

Family & VIP progression

Structured plans from first ride to ropeless, longboard flow to foil intros. Clear milestones, safe speeds, visible results.

Crew training & continuity

Keep the excellence running between visits, through crew rotations and seasons.

Gear strategy

The right boards for your riders, your boat and your water. Specified, sourced and stored tidily onboard.

How we work

Working around the crew

We work around the captain and crew rather than through them, plan to your itinerary, and stay inside limits agreed in advance. Mornings tend to be the glassy window, so that's when the real progress happens. Afternoons are for tidying things up.

Logistics: We fly in globally and can rendezvous with a dedicated wake boat if your tender isn't suitable. Tell us your dates and cruising plan and we'll align coach, gear and local conditions for peak sessions.

Our standard

Presets are a starting point

The part most people underestimate is boat setup. Factory presets are a starting point and nothing more.

Open water, load, wind, current, rider level and specific board or foil choices all change what “perfect” looks like.

Our coaches adjust as they go, changing ballast, surf system, speed and rope length to suit the water that day and the boards being ridden. The wave gets cleaner, the pocket runs longer, and people learn faster because they are not fighting it.
